Marino Repeats As Centennial Conference Volleyball Player of the Week

Sophomore Garners Award For The Second Straight Week

LANCASTER, Pa. – Sophomore outside hitter Kaitlyn Marino (Redding, Conn./Joel Barlow) has been named the Centennial Conference Player of the Week for volleyball for the week ending on September 11 by the conference office.  This is the second straight week Marino has earned the conference's weekly award.

Marino averaged 4.57 kills and 3.43 digs to go with a .244 hitting percentage in a 2-0 week for the Shorewomen with a pair of double-doubles. In a four-set victory over host Alvernia on Saturday, she had a career-high 20 kills and 12 digs as she hit .300 in the victory. She 20 of WC's 50 kills in the win and clinched the third set with a kill to give WC a 2-1 lead. In the three-set sweep of Immaculata later on Saturday at Alvernia, she had 12 kills and 12 digs.
