  • Four Volleyball Shorewomen Land on Centennial Academic Honor Roll

    Four Washington College volleyball student-athletes have qualified for the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for fall sports. In order to qualify for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average.
  • Lee and Daunoras Named All-Centennial

    A pair of Washington College volleyball players have been named All-Centennial Conference in a vote conducted by the conference’s 11 head coaches. Senior outside hitter Kristin Lee was named to the second team for the fourth consecutive season, while senior middle hitter Jess Daunoras earned all-conference for the first time as she garnered honorable mention. Lee is the program’s first four-time all-conference player.

The Shorewomen swept Misericordia (25-18, 25-18, 25-12) in their first match of the day before losing in four sets to host Susquehanna (25-19, 26-24, 17-25, 25-20). Washington is now 8-5 on the season, going 2-2 in the tournament this weekend.

The Shorewomen fell to Baldwin Wallace in the first match of the evening, 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-21), and rallied from two sets down to top Penn State-Behrend in five sets (20-25, 21-25, 25-20, 25-15, 15-11). Washington is now 7-4 on the year.
