Three Shorewomen Volleyball Players Named to Centennial Academic Honor Roll

LANCASTER, Pa. -- Three members of the Washington College volleyball team have earned spots on the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for fall sports. 

To be named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior; a starter or key reserve on her team; and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average. A key reserve is defined as a reserve who appeared in at least 50% of her team's contests and/or played in the Centennial Conference Tournament.

Senior right-side hitter Emily Hoyle (Santa Rita, Guam/Guam) and senior setter Lauren White (Huntingtown, Md./Huntingtown) each earned the distinction for the third year in a row. Junior middle hitter Sarah Beresik (Point Pleasant, N.J./Point Pleasant Beach) received the honor for the second year in a row. 

Hoyle is majoring in Political Science and Philosophy, White in Psychology, and Beresik in Human Development and Sociology.
