Washington concludes the season at 12-15 overall and 4-6 in the Centennial Conference, while the Green Terror finish the year at 7-21 and 0-10 respectively.

The Fords are now 19-8 overall and 6-2 in the conference, while the Shorewomen drop to 11-15 and 3-6 respectively.

The Shorewomen (11-14, 3-5 Centennial) dropped their first match of the day to the Centennial Conference rival Diplomats (15-12, 7-1 Centennial), 25-17, 25-12, 25-20, before dropping a non-conference match to St. Mary's (MD), 21-25, 25-16, 25-14, 25-22.

    Host Washington College rallied from a 13-9 deficit in the fifth set to visiting Gettysburg to score the final six points to give the Shorewomen a 15-13 win in the deciding set to give Washington its first victory over Gettysburg in 35 years in, 3-2 (21-25, 25-22, 16-25, 27-25, 15-13), on Saturday afternoon at the Cain Athletic Center in Centennial Conference volleyball action. In the final match of the afternoon, the Shorewomen dropped a 3-0 (25-21, 25-10, 25-23) to Stevenson in non-conference action. The Mustangs topped the Bullets in the middle contest of the tri-match, 3-0 (27-25, 25-20, 25-18), in non-conference action.

The Shorewomen (5-7) opened the day with a 25-21, 25-17, 25-16, win over Lancaster Bible. They then swept Ohio Christian, 25-15, 25-23, 30-28, before falling to Catholic, 25-23, 25-22, 25-20.

    The Washington College volleyball team split a pair of matches on the second and final day of the Buttermaker Tournament at Muhlenberg College. The Shorewomen (3-6) opened the day with a 25-10, 25-21, 16-25, 25-22 loss to Neumann, but bounced back with a 25-6, 25-16, 25-22, win over Centenary (NJ) in their final match of the tournament.

    Washington College volleyball head coach Lacey Lister has named three captains for the 2012 season. The trio of junior setter Lauren White and seniors, middle hitter Jenny Lee and defensive specialist Kaitlin Rowan will serve as captains for the Shorewomen this year.
