LANCASTER, Pa. — Sophomore Ella Samer (Boise, Idaho/Boise) has been named Academic All-Centennial Conference and is one of two student-athletes from the Washington College women's tennis team to have qualified for the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for spring sports.
In order to qualify for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average through the Fall 2018 semester.
Academic All-Centennial honors are bestowed upon student-athletes who are named All-Centennial Conference and earn a spot on the Academic Honor Roll in the same season. Samer was named to the second team for singles and an honorable mention for doubles earlier this month.
Samer is a first-time Academic Honor Roll qualifier and is majoring in both Chemistry and Psychology. She is joined on the Academic Honor Roll by senior and three-time qualifier Mariah Thomas (Forest Hill, Md./Bel Air). Thomas is majoring in Human Development.
