    Four student-athletes from the Washington College women’s tennis team have earned All-Centennial Conference honors in a vote conducted by the conference’s head coaches. In addition, the conference’s All-Sportsmanship Team and Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the sport were announced.

    The Washington College women’s tennis team, ranked 39th in Division III and eighth in the Atlantic South region, defeated Swarthmore, ranked 16th in the region, 5-1 in a Centennial Conference women’s tennis semifinal today at Johns Hopkins. The Shorewomen advanced to tomorrow’s championship match and improved to 15-3 overall with the win, while the Garnet end the season with a 9-7 record.

    The Washington College women’s tennis team, ranked 39th in Division III and eighth in the Atlantic South region, completed its regular season with an 8-1 Centennial Conference win over host McDaniel College this afternoon in Westminster, Md. The Shorewomen improved to 13-3 overall and finish conference play with a 9-1 record for the second straight year. McDaniel fell to 2-14 and 0-10 with the loss to end its season.

The Shorewomen improved to 12-3 overall and 8-1 in conference matches with the win, while the Bullets fell to 6-10 and 4-4 with the loss.

The Shorewomen, ranked eighth in the region, dropped to 10-3 and 6-1 with the loss.
