• Three Women's Tennis Student-Athletes, Team Lauded by ITA for Academics

    The Washington College women's tennis team has earned an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team Award for its collective performance in the classroom during the 2011-12 academic year. In addition, three members of the team - Jordan Finnegan, Meghan Tait, and Amy Stevens - have been named 2012 ITA Scholar-Athletes.

The Fords, ranked 20th in the Atlantic South region, improved to 12-8 and advanced to the semifinals with the win, while the Shorewomen finish their season at 10-8 with the loss.
