Finnegan & Marshall Named All-Centennial

Doubles Tandem, Finnegan Earn First-Team Honors

LANCASTER, PA -- Washington College sophomores Jordan Finnegan (Wilmington, DE/Archmere Academy) and Brittany Marshall (Dagsboro, DE/Worcester Prep, MD) have earned All-Centennial Conference Women's Tennis honors in a vote conducted by the conference's coaches. Finnegan earned first-team honors in singles for the second straight year and joined Marshall to earn first-team honors in doubles for the second straight year. Marshall also earned second-team honors in singles.

As a doubles team, Finnegan and Marshall were 18-1 on the year - their lone loss coming in the fall by an 8-6 score in the quarterfinals of the ITA Southeast Regional Championships. They were a perfect 16-0 at No. 1 in dual matches this spring, including a 9-0 mark against conference opponents.

Finnegan was 13-5 in singles this year, including a 12-4 mark at No. 1 in dual matches and a 6-3 record in conference matches.

Marshall was 11-6 in singles this year, including a 10-4 mark in dual matches and a 6-3 record in conference matches.
