    Sophomore swimmer Teresa Draves is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Draves had the team's best finish in any event at the Yellow Jacket Invitational this weekend in Richmond, Va. as she had a second place finish in the 400 individual medley.
  • Shorewomen Finish Fourth at Yellow Jacket Invitational

    The Washington College women?s swim team placed fourth out of 12 teams at Yellow Jacket Invitational, hosted by Randolph-Macon Saturday and Sunday at the Collegiate School Aquatic Center.  Sophomore Teresa Draves moved up to fifth in the Shorewomen Top 10 in the 400 individual medley and joined three other top 10 categories and three different swimmers joined the top 10 list as six events had a change in the all-time top 10.

    Visiting #21 Swarthmore had the top time in 13 of the 14 events on its way to a 135-105 win over host Washington College on Saturday afternoon at the Casey Swim Center in Centennial Conference women's swimming action.

    CHESTERTOWN, Md. — Host Washington College won 11 of the 14 events en route to a 166-92 win over visiting St. Mary’s College of Maryland in a non-conference swim meet tonight at the Casey Swim Center in Chestertown, Maryland. Allison Gallagher (Saunderstown, R.I. / Exeter-West Greenwich Regional) led the Shorewomen with three individual race wins on the night.

    The host Washington College women’s swim team picked up its 33rd consecutive win over Eastern Shore rival Salisbury University tonight as the Shorewomen defeated the Sea Gulls, 136-69, in a non-conference meet inside Casey Swim Center.

    The host Gettysburg College women’s swimming team finished first in all 14 events en route to a 207-50 Centennial Conference win over visiting Washington College this afternoon.

    Visiting Franklin & Marshall downed host Washington College, 151-102, in the first Centennial Conference women’s swimming meet of the season for both schools this afternoon inside Casey Swim Center.

    The Washington College women’s swim team opened its 2019-20 season today at a non-conference tri-meet hosted by 19th-ranked Washington and Lee. The Shorewomen fell to the host Generals, 200-55, and to Centre College, 171-88.

    The 2019-20 Washington College women’s swim team will be the first for the Shorewomen with head coach Mark Hill at the helm. Hill, a former assistant coach at the College who went on to have a highly-successful run as a Division I assistant coach, will guide a roster that returns 13 of 19 swimmers from last year’s team.
  • Mark Hill Named Head Men's & Women's Swimming Coach

    Mark Hill, who helped guide the University of Michigan men’s program to an NCAA Division I National Championship, has been hired as the head men’s and women’s swimming coach at Washington College. Hill previously served as an assistant coach at Washington College early in his coaching career. 
  • Harris Stepping Down as Head Swimming Coach

    Matt Harris is stepping down as head men’s and women’s swimming coach at Washington College to accept a position at St. Andrew’s School in Middletown, Del. Harris spent seven years on the coaching staff for the Shoremen and Shorewomen, including the last three seasons as head coach.
