    The host Washington College women’s swim team picked up its 33rd consecutive win over Eastern Shore rival Salisbury University tonight as the Shorewomen defeated the Sea Gulls, 136-69, in a non-conference meet inside Casey Swim Center.

    The host Gettysburg College women’s swimming team finished first in all 14 events en route to a 207-50 Centennial Conference win over visiting Washington College this afternoon.

    Visiting Franklin & Marshall downed host Washington College, 151-102, in the first Centennial Conference women’s swimming meet of the season for both schools this afternoon inside Casey Swim Center. 
  • Shorewomen Open with Losses to #19 W&L, Centre

    The Washington College women’s swim team opened its 2019-20 season today at a non-conference tri-meet hosted by 19th-ranked Washington and Lee. The Shorewomen fell to the host Generals, 200-55, and to Centre College, 171-88.

    The 2019-20 Washington College women’s swim team will be the first for the Shorewomen with head coach Mark Hill at the helm. Hill, a former assistant coach at the College who went on to have a highly-successful run as a Division I assistant coach, will guide a roster that returns 13 of 19 swimmers from last year’s team.
  • Mark Hill Named Head Men's & Women's Swimming Coach

    Mark Hill, who helped guide the University of Michigan men’s program to an NCAA Division I National Championship, has been hired as the head men’s and women’s swimming coach at Washington College. Hill previously served as an assistant coach at Washington College early in his coaching career. 
  • Harris Stepping Down as Head Swimming Coach

    Matt Harris is stepping down as head men’s and women’s swimming coach at Washington College to accept a position at St. Andrew’s School in Middletown, Del. Harris spent seven years on the coaching staff for the Shoremen and Shorewomen, including the last three seasons as head coach.
