Eight Shorewomen Swimmers Named to Centennial Academic Honor Roll

LANCASTER, Pa. — Eight student-athletes from the Washington College women's swimming team have been named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for winter sports.

Senior Julia Portmann (Palatine, Ill./William Fremd) and Emma Silber (Cedar Grove, N.J./Cedar Grove) both landed on the Honor Roll for the third consecutive year. Portmann is majoring in both Biology and Environmental Science. Silber, who graduated a semester early, earned a degree in Business Management. 

Juniors Ana Reynoso-Zimmerer (Chula Vista, Calif./High Tech) and Alex Searles (Richmond, Va./Douglas S. Freeman) qualified for the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the second straight year. Reynoso-Zimmerer is majoring in Sociology and Hispanic Studies, while Searles in majoring in Chemistry.

Senior Anna Schmittle (York, Pa./York Suburban), junior Lindsay Wiecki (Birstow, Va./Osbourn Park), and sophomores Kamdyn Finney (Ellicott City, Md./Institute of Notre Dame) and Allison Gallagher (Saunderstown, R.I./Exeter-West Greenwich Regional) are first-time Academic Honor Roll qualifiers. Schmittle is majoring in Economics and Business Management, Wiecki in Psychology, Finney in Biology, and Gallagher in Chemistry.
