#14 Generals Top Shorewomen, 151-99

CHESTERTOWN, Md. — The Washington College women's swim team lost its season opener to 14th-ranked Washington and Lee, 151-99, in a non-conference dual meet this afternoon inside Casey Swim Center.

Shorewomen Highlights
- Alexa Luecke placed second in the 200 freestyle in 2:02.87 and third in the 100 freestyle in 56.98.
- Anna Hall was second in the 200 butterfly in 2:19.13 and touched third in the 200 individual medley in 2:20.49.
- Allison Gallagher placed third in the 200 backstroke in 2:20.93, while Julia Portmann touched the wall third in the 500 freestyle in 5:27.61. 

Notes
- The Generals were swimming in their third dual meet of the season and remained undefeated at 3-0 with the win.
- Washington and Lee built a large early lead and entered the final four events as exhibition entries only.  

- Luecke was named the Goose Nation TV Shorewomen Swimmer of the Meet.
