Portmann Wins Three Individual Events

BRYN MAWR, Pa. — The Washington College women's swim team will head into Thanksgiving winners of three of its last four meets thanks to a 116-65 Centennial Conference victory over host Bryn Mawr this afternoon.

Shorewomen Highlights
- Julia Portmann won three individual events for the Shorewomen, taking the 200 freestyle in 2:04.51, the 200 butterfly in 2:23.98, and the 500 freestyle in 5:29.62.
- Jenni Clune won the 100 freestyle in 55.57, Katie Gorman won the 50 freestyle in 25.19, Maija Adourian won the 200 backstroke in 2:25.17, and Allison Gallagher won the 200 individual medley in 2:23.77.
- Adourian, Clune, Gorman, and Anna Schmittle opened the meet by winning the 200 medley relay in 1:55.71. Schmittle, Emma Silber, Gorman, and Clune had the fastest time (1:44.80) in the 200 freestyle relay swimming as an exhibition entrant.
- Lindsay Wiecki was second in the 200 individual medley in 2:25.68, Savannah Quade was second in the 200 backstroke in 2:29.23, and Alex Searles places second in the 200 breaststroke in 2:41.39. 

- The Shorewomen improved to 4-3 overall and 2-3 in conference meets with the win, while the Owls remained winless at 0-5, all of them conference meets.
