Clune, Gorman, Wiecki Win Two Individual Events Each for Shorewomen

SWARTHMORE, Pa. — The host Swarthmore College women's swim team remained undefeated this season at 4-0 overall and 4-0 in Centennial Conference meets this season with a 153-109 win over visiting Washington College this afternoon. The Shorewomen dropped to 1-3 and 0-3 with the loss.

Shorewomen Highlights
- Jenni Clune, Katie Gorman, and Lindsay Wiecki each won two individual events for the Shorewomen. Clune won the 100 breaststroke (1:09.95) and the 200 breaststroke (2:32.72), Gorman won the 50 freestyle (25.39) and 100 freestyle (55.04), and Wiecki captured the 200 butterfly (2:18.45) and 100 butterfly (1:01.39).
- The Shorewomen also won the 400 medley relay as Ellen Maxwell, Clune, Wiecki, and Gorman completed the race in 4:08.42.
- Julia Portmann was also second in the 200 freestyle in 2:03.49 and in the 500 freestyle in 5:31.76. Maxwell was second in the 100 backstroke in 1:03.37, while Clune came in second in the 100 individual medley in 1:01.71.
