Seven Shorewomen Earn Spots on Centennial Academic Honor Roll

LANCASTER, Pa. — Seven student-athletes from the Washington College women's swim team have qualified for the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for winter sports.  In order to qualify for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average. 

Five of the Shorewomen's qualifiers landed on the Academic Honor Roll for the second year in a row - senior Cate McMenamin (Telford, Pa./Souderton Area) and juniors Jackie Creitz (Schnecksville, Pa./Parkland), Ellen Maxwell (Towson, Md./Loch Raven), Maddie Morrissette (Arlington, Mass./Arlington), and Angelina Tomasura (Toms River, N.J./Toms River South). Sophomores Maija Adourian (Phoenix, Md./Notre Dame Prep) and Jenni Clune (Bowie, Md./Eleanor Roosevelt) both landed on the Academic Honor Roll for the first time. 

McMenamin is a Human Development major completing the Education program. Maxwell, Morrissette, and Adourian are Biology majors. Creitz is a Math and Computer Sciene double major, while Tomasura is an Anthropology and Sociology major. Clune has yet to declare a major.
