Five Shorewomen Swimmers Named to Centennial Academic Honor Roll

LANCASTER, Pa. -- Five members of the Washington College women's swim team have qualified for the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for winter sports. 

To be named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior; a starter or key reserve on her team; and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average. A key reserve is defined as a reserve who appeared in at least 50% of her team's contests or competed in the Centennial Conference Championships.

The Shorewomen's honorees are junior Cate McMenamin (Souderton, Pa./Souderton Area) and sophomores Jackie Creitz (Schnecksville, Pa./Parkland), Ellen Maxwell (Towson, Md./Loch Raven), Madeleine Morrissette (Arlington, Mass./Arlington), and Angelina Tomasura (Toms River, N.J./Toms River South). All five are first-time qualifiers.

Creitz is a Math major, Maxwell an Environmental Science major, McMenamin a Human Development major, Morrissette a Biology major, and Tomasura an Anthropology and Sociology double major.
