Shorewomen Soccer - Historic Scoreless Tie v. Johns Hopkins
The Washington College women’s soccer team posted its first-ever win or tie against a nationally-ranked opponent by playing to a scoreless, double-overtime draw with fifth-ranked Johns Hopkins on 9/28/19. The game snapped a streak of 82 straight games (regular season and conference tournament) in which Hopkins had scored at least one goal against conference opponents. It also snapped the Blue Jay’s 21-game regular-season conference winning streak. Annalie Buscarino made a dramatic save with under 10 minutes left in regulation.
