Buscarino Named Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week

Earns Weekly Award For The Second Time

LANCASTER, Pa. – Sophomore goalkeeper Annalie Buscarino (Centereach, N.Y./Centereach) has been named the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week for women's soccer for the week ending September 9th by the conference office.

Buscarino posted her first career shutout in the Shorewomen's 2-0 victory over Rutgers-Camden on Saturday afternoon.  The sophomore made six saves, four in the first half and two in the second half as Washington College improved to 2-0-0 on the season.

This is the second time she has won the conference's weekly award as she won her first award on September 11, 2017.
