CHESTERTOWN, Md. — The Washington College women's lacrosse team makes its first appearance of the season in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division III Top 25 this week, checking in at the 25th spot in the poll.
The Shorewomen (7-2) have won six consecutive games, including a 10-9 win over then 25th-ranked St. Mary's last Wednesday. The Shorewomen have also won 18 consecutive games against unranked opponents since the start of last season. Their only two losses this season have come against then sixth-ranked York and then fifth-ranked Salisbury.
The Shorewomen return to action this Wednesday with a 7 p.m. Centennial Conference home game against Ursinus.
