Three Shorewomen Named to IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

GRAND LAKE, Colo. — Three rising seniors on the Washington College women's lacrosse team have been named to the 2016 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll. Defender Anna Inserra (Dix Hills, N.Y./Half Hollows Hills West), midfielder Cara Pascarella (Dix Hills, N.Y./Half Hollows Hills East), and goalie Haylee Solomon (Wantagh, N.Y./Sanford H. Calhoun) all quallified for the honor. 

In order to be eligible for the IWLCA Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a junior, senior, or graduate student who has earned a cumulative academic grade-point-average of 3.50 or greater.

Inserra, a Chemisty major, was named the Centennial Conference's Inaugural All-Sports Women's Scholar-Athlete of the Year and the Centennial Conference Women's Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Pascarella is an Economics major, while Solomon is majoring in Biology.
