    Washington College junior midfielder Emily Hubley has been named a first-team All-American by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA). She is the first Shorewoman to earn first-team All-America honors since Kristy Hilgartner in 1992.

    Washington College first-year head women's lacrosse coach Heidi Yetman has been named Centennial Conference Coach of the Year and freshman goalie Allison Remenapp has been chosen as the conference's Rookie of the Year in a vote conducted by the conference's 10 head coaches. In addition, Remenapp was one of five Shorewomen named to the All-Centennial Conference first or second teams.

    Senior women’s lacrosse player Sydney Slavin along with fellow classmate Meredith Callis ’14 had their spring break span the United States Eastern Seaboard from Florida to Boston. After playing two games in West Palm Beach, Florida, the duo traveled to Boston to present their experimental posters at the 85th Annual Meeting of the Eastern Psychological Association. Slavin chronicles the experience from The Sunshine State to The Bay State and back to Maryland for their game versus Christopher Newport.

This season, the team seeks to continue this strong run by reaching the Centennial Conference tournament for the fourth straight season this spring, which would be a program first, and the seventh time overall under first-year head coach Heidi Yetman.
