Eight Shorewomen Laxers Earn Spots on Centennial Academic Honor Roll

LANCASTER, PA -- Eight members of the Washington College women's lacrosse team have earned spots on the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for spring sports. To be named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior; a starter or key reserve on his or her team; and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average. A key reserve is defined as a reserve who appeared in at least 50% of her team's contests and/or played in the Centennial Conference Tournament.

Senior defender Caroline Stanley (Freeland, MD/Hereford), an Environmental Studies major, is a three-time member of the conference's Academic Honor Roll. Senior midfielder Rachel Bartee (Mount Airy, MD/South Carroll), senior midfielder/defender Ann Eickelberg (Amityville, NY/St. John the Baptist), and junior midfielder Marissa Restaino (Media, PA/Penncrest) each earned the honor for the second time. Bartee is a Human Development major, while Eickelberg and Restaino are Math majors. Sophomore defender Meredith Callis (Baltimore, MD/Roland Park Country School), sophomore midfielder Carly Eisenbrandt (Baltimore, MD/Towson), sophomore defender/midfielder Kathleen Maleski (Mount Airy, MD/South Carroll), and sophomore defender Jillian Undem (Bel Air, MD/Fallston) are first-time honorees. Callis is a Psychology major, Eisenbrandt an Art major, Maleski a Physics major, and Undem a Human Development major.
