The Shorewomen improved to 9-5 overall and 5-3 in conference play with the win, clinching their first winning record in Centennial games since finishing the 2004 season at 6-3 in the conference.

The Shorewomen improve to 5-3 overall and 1-1 in the conference, while the Bears drop to 5-4 and 2-1 respectively. The win was also the 200th all-time victory for Shorewomen Lacrosse, a program that has been varsity at Washington College since 1982.

    Washington College head women's lacrosse coach Julika Blankenship has announced the hiring of Juli Liebig as an assistant coach on the Shorewomen's staff. Liebig, who attended nearby Queen Anne's County High School, was a star goalie at Longwood University.
