    Freshman women's basketball player Emilee Cramer is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Cramer averaged 14 points per game in a 2-0 week for the squad, including setting a career-high with 18 points in a win over Franklin & Marshall on Saturday.

    Host Washington College took the lead for good with 5:40 left in the first quarter and held visiting Franklin & Marshall to just 19.6% shooting from the floor on its way to a 68-46 victory on Saturday afternoon in a Centennial Conference women’s basketball game at the Cain Athletic Center.

    Host Ursinus used a 12-0 run spanning the third and fourth quarters to turn a 48-43 deficit into a 55-48 lead to come away with a 67-55 win against visiting Washington College on Thursday evening at Helfferich Hall in Centennial Conference women’s basketball action.
  • Shorewomen Break Away from Aggies with Strong Second Half, 76-56

    Host Washington College outscored visiting Delaware Valley 41-25 in the second half to break open a 35-31 halftime lead on its way to a 76-56 win on Tuesday night in a non-conference women’s basketball game at the Cain Athletic Center.  The Shorewomen are now 4-0 on the season and for the third time in team history.

    CHESTERTOWN, Md. — Host Washington College erased an early 11 point deficit to defeat visiting Muhlenberg 50-46 in a Centennial Conference women’s basketball game played today at the Cain Athletic Center in Chestertown, Maryland. The win for the Shorewomen is their first home win over Muhlenberg since a 64-63 win back on January 20th, 2007.
  • Shorewomen Use Record-Breaking First Quarter to Handle Gators, 76-51

    The visiting Washington College women’s basketball team scored the most points ever in a quarter as they scored 31 in the first quarter on its way to a 76-51 win over host Notre Dame (Md.) on Wednesday night in a non-conference women’s basketball game at MBK Sports Complex.  The Shorewomen, who eclipsed their previous quarter high by five points, improve to 2-0, while the Gators drop to 1-2.  Washington is 2-0 for the first time since 2012-13.

    CHESTERTOWN, Md. — Visiting Division II Wilmington (Del.) outscored host Washington College 42-30 in the second half to post a 77-63 win in a women’s basketball exhibition game played tonight at the Cain Athletic Center in Chestertown, Maryland. The game did not count as a game in the season standings for either team.
