LANCASTER, Pa. — An impressive 10 student-athletes from the Washington College women's basketball team have earned spots on the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll. In order to qualify for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average.
Seniors Brynne Brouse (Slatington, Pa./Parkland), Jordan Weir (Washington, D.C./Westtown [Pa.]), and Gabby Winsky (Davidsonville, Md./Severn School) all landed on the Academic Honor Roll for the third year in a row, while juniors Kristi Kozlowski (Kingsville, Md./Redeemer Classical Christian School), Alexis Krahling (Germantown, Md./St. John's College H.S. [D.C.]), and Emily Thiemann (Wilmington, Del./Padua Academy) qualified for the second year in a row. Sophomores Caitlyn Clark (Media, Pa./Notre Dame de Namur), Samantha Howell (Chevy Chase, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase), Bridget McLaughlin (Newark, Del./Delaware Military Academy), and Cassidy Quattro (Lansdale, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) were first-time qualifiers.
Brouse is majoring in Biology, Weir in International Studies, and Winsky in Business Management. Kozlowski is majoring in Business Management, Krahling in Business Management and Economics, and Thiemann in Human Development. Clark is majoring in Business Management, while Howell is majoring in Physics. McLaughlin and Quattro have yet to declare majors.
