CHESTERTOWN, Md. — The Washington College women's basketball team's home game against Bryn Mawr on February 7th will be the Shorewomen's Play4Kay Game benefiting the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
The team will be collecting donations at the door on for Tuesday, February 7th's game which begins at 7 p.m. The Shorewomen will also be selling chocolate ribbons to raise funds on February 6th and 7th at Hodson Hall Commons on the Washington College campus. Fans can also donate online at www.KayYow.com or text 4KAY to 41444.
Pink ribbons will also be available at the game for fans to wear to show their support for the cause.
Because of financial support from PLAY4KAY events across the country, the Kay Yow Cancer Fund has awarded over $5.28 million for scientific research and projects assisting the underserved in ALL women's cancers.
