BALTIMORE, Md. – Host Johns Hopkins got a double-double from Beatriz Williams of 13 points and 11 rebounds, both game-highs, in a 64-42 win over visiting Washington College at Goldfarb Gym in a Centennial Conference women's basketball game on Wednesday night.

How It Happened
-Leading 11-8 with 4:19 to go in the first quarter following a three-pointer by the Shorewomen's Ali Grundy, the Blue Jays scored the final eight points of the quarter to take a 19-8 lead after one. Lexie Scholtz capped the run with a conventional three-point play with 49 ticks left.
-Johns Hopkins scored 11 of the final 16 points of the second quarter to turn a 23-15 lead with 6:01 remaining in the second following a bucket by Washington's Brynne Brouse into a 34-20 bulge at halftime.
-The closest the Shorewomen would get in the second half was 10 points when Grundy canned a three to trim the Blue Jays' cushion to 36-26 with 8:17 to go in the third quarter.
-Johns Hopkins would lead by as many as 23 points with 4:51 to go in the game at 61-38 on a Sophia Way triple.
