Jesse Downey is a 2017 graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, where he was a member of the shotgun sports team for three years and now serves as an assistant coach for WCTA. During his time at Maryland, he led the team as president and raised funds for the team to compete at the ACUI Clay Targets National Championships. Prior to shooting for the University of Maryland, Jesse was an accomplished youth shooter in the 4H Kent County Clay Crushers (now know as the Triple Shots) program. While competing as a youth shooter, Jesse was a member of the Maryland 4H National team and represented the state at the championships in Nebraska. Jesse is excited to be transitioning to the roll of a coach and work with Coach Pfaff and Coach Amick to further the success of the Washington College trap and skeet team.
