SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Aaron Amick, associate head coach of the Washington College trap and skeet team, has been named a Class C All-America honorable mention by the National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA).
Each year, NSSA identifies Class All-American teams for their performance in the previous shooting year. This recognition program determines teams on an objective system based on numbers only. The first requirement for eligibility is that minimum registered targets must be shot: 800 12-gauge; 500 20-gauge, 28-gauge, and .410 bore; and 300 doubles targets. Selection is based on HOA Class at the beginning of the shooting year.
Amick's point total checked in at 862.5, tied for 28th out of all 12-gauge Class C shooters in the country who shot the mandatory minimums in 2018.
