#16 Garnet Too Much for Shoremen, 128-104

Mandrell Captures 100 Backstroke for WC

CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting #21 Swarthmore had the top time in 13 of the 14 events on its way to a 128-104 win over host Washington College on Saturday afternoon at the Casey Swim Center in Centennial Conference men's swimming action.

Shoremen Highlights
- Gage Mandrell had the Shoremen's lone top finish of the afternoon as he grabbed the 100 backstroke in 55.74.    
- In the 200 medley relay the team of Andrew Feeley, Brett Edwards, Jackson Graham and Nate Braddock finished second with a time of 1:40.57.
- Feeley had the second fastest time in the 400 individual medley at 4:18.68 and is now ninth all-time in program history in the event.

Notes
- The Garnet improve to 3-1 overall and in the Centennial, while Shoremen drop to 2-5 and 0-3 respectively.
- Mandrell was named the Goose Nation TV Shoremen Swimmer of the Meet.
