• Men's Rowing Announces 2019-20 Captains

    After completing a highly-successful season at the Dad Vail Regatta last Friday and Saturday, the Washington College men's rowing team has announced its captains for the 2019-20 season. Brook Yimer and Evan Koch will return as captains, while Sean Curry will join them.

    The Washington College Athletics Department held its annual athletic awards ceremony tonight, honoring the top student-athletes for the 2018-19 academic year.  Team Most Valuable Players and Most Improved Players were named, and several special departmental awards were presented as well.
  • Shoremen Tie for Fourth in Point Standings at MARC Championships

    The Washington College men’s rowing team tied for fourth among 20 teams in the team standings at the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference Championships today at Gifford Pinchot State Park in Lewisberry, Pa. In addition, three Shoremen were named All-MARC and five qualified for Academic All-MARC.

    The Washington College men's rowing team's "A" boat in the men's varsity four won its heat at a shortened Murphy Cup on the Cooper River in Cherry Hill, N.J., today. All of the afternoon small-boat races, including the final of the men's varsity four, were canceled due to deteriorating conditions.

    Last week, 2008 Washington College graduate and former four-year member of the school's men's rowing team Hugh McAdam was officially named by USRowing to the 72-person roster that will represent the United States at the 2018 World Rowing Championships September 9-16 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
