    Rising senior Ryan Miranda of the Washington College men's rowing team has been named an Eastern College Athletic Conference's (ECAC) National Invitational Rowing Championship (NIRC) All-Star for the second consecutive season.

    The Washington College men’s rowing team concluded its season today at the ECAC National Invitational Rowing Championships on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. The Shoremen competed against some of the top crews in the nation in the first, second, and third varsity eights. In the first varsity eight, the Shoremen were fifth in the petite final to place 11th of 21 boats overall.

    The Washington College men’s rowing team won its third consecutive conference championship and fifth in the past six years by claiming the overall points trophy at the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference Championships today at Gifford Pinchot State Park in Lewisberry, Pa. The point-scoring events were the men’s first and second varsity eights and men’s varsity four with points awarded only to MARC member schools.
