McManus Scores Twice For Washington
CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Host Dickinson used a 13-1 run to turn an early 3-1 deficit into a 14-4 lead on its way to a 15-7 win over visiting Washington College at Biddle Field in a Centennial Conference men's lacrosse game on Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened
-Washington scored three of the game's first four goals to take a 3-1 lead with 8:44 to go in the first quarter on a tally by Nick Boyles.
-Dickinson answered with three consecutive goals of its own in the final 2:20 of the first to take a 4-3 lead after the first quarter. Rob Kendall's second goal of the quarter with one second left gave the hosts the lead after one.
-The Shoremen evened the game 1:40 into the second quarter on a goal by Kevin Trapp. The game would go to halftime at 4-4.
-Deegan Beauchamin scored 1:19 into the third quarter on a shot from the left side to put Dickinson ahead 5-4 and it ignited a 6-0 third for the hosts. Kendall capped the six-goal outburst with 21 ticks left to make it 10-4 after three. Tucker Carney scored twice in the third, while Chris Menard had a goal and an assist in the quarter.
-The Red Devils outscored the Shoremen in the fourth quarter by a 5-3 margin to provide the final margin.

-The Shoremen won a dramatic 10-9 overtime game last year at Swarthmore, scoring twice in the final eight seconds of the fourth quarter to force overtime and winning it on a Powers goal with 51 ticks to in the overtime session for the golden goal.
