Six Shorewomen Field Hockey Players Qualify for Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll
LANCASTER, Pa. – Junior forward Kailyn Brandt (White Hall, Md./Hereford) has been named Academic All-Centennial Conference for the second straight year and is one of six student-athletes from the Washington College field hockey team to have qualified for the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for fall sports.
In order to qualify for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average.
Academic All-Centennial honors are bestowed upon student-athletes who are named All-Centennial Conference and earn a spot on the Academic Honor Roll in the same season. Earlier this month, Brandt was named All-Centennial honorable mention.
Joining Brandt were seniors Sophie Grabiec (Newport, Pa./Newport), Abigail McGowan (Wilmington, Del./Padua Academy) and Jessie Willey (Salisbury, Md./Parkside), junior Parker Wolf (Reisterstown, Md./McDonogh) and sophomore Alyssa McGinnis (Middletown, Del./St. Georges Tech).
Grabiec and Willey both qualified for the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the third straight year, Brandt, McGowan and Wolf have now qualified twice and McGinnis qualified for the first time.
Brandt, McGowan and Willey are majoring in Biology, Grabiec is an English major, McGinnis is a Psychology major and Wolf is majoring in Human Development.
