CHANDLER, Ariz. — Washington College sophomore forward Kailyn Brandt (White Hall, Md./Hereford) has been named to the Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-South Region second team for the second year in a row. Brandt is the first Washington College field hockey student-athlete to ever earn All-Region honors in each of her first two seasons.
Brandt led the Shorewomen in goals (nine), points (19), and shots (50) and registered one assist while starting all 18 games this season. She tied for sixth in the Centennial Conference in goals and finished 10th in the conference in both points and shots.
Earlier this month, Brandt was named to the All-Centennial Conference first team for the second year in a row.
