LANCASTER, Pa. — Eight student-athletes from the Washington College field hockey team have qualified for the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for fall sports. Among those eight is senior Katie Arnold (Hockessin, Del./Wilmington Christian), who was also named Academic All-Centennial based on her combination of qualifying for the Academic Honor Roll and her selection to the All-Centennial Conference second team.
In order to qualify for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average.
Arnold qualified for the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the third year in a row. Juniors Olivia Auer (Forest Hill, Md./Bel Air), Morgan Domanico (Bel Air, Md./Bel Air), Clare Ingersoll (Chestertown, Md./Gunston School), and Sabrina Jenkins (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis) all qualified for the Academic Honor Roll for the second straight year. Junior Natalie Theriault (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford) and sophomores Sophie Grabiec (Newport, Pa./Newport) and Jessie Willey (Salisbury, Md./Parkside) were first-time qualifiers.
Arnold, Domanico, and Jenkins are all majoring in Biology. Auer is majoring in Business Management, Ingersoll in Psychology, and Theriault in Economics. Grabiec and Willey have yet to declare a major.
