Hall of Fame Saturday Features Four Senior Days

CHESTERTOWN, MD -- Five new members of the Washington College Hall of Fame will be inducted Saturday night on the most action-packed induction Saturday in the Hall's history. Four teams will celebrate Senior Day and two home contests will benefit cancer research.

Ben Harris '98, Mandy Paré '99, John Parker '55, Paulina Sierra Samano '97, and Danielle Sullivan '98 will be inducted into the College's Hall of Fame during the annual dinner and induction ceremony Saturday night. A full slate of home athletic events will lead up to the ceremony.

Men's & Women's Swimming - Maroon & Black Intrasquad Scrimmage
9:00 a.m. - Casey Swim Center

The first public look at the 2011-12 swim teams as the Shoremen and Shorewomen host their annual Maroon & Black meet, an intrasquad scrimmage.

Volleyball Tri-Match v. Franklin & Marshall/Catholic
12:00 p.m. - Cain Athletic Center

The tri-match will begin with the Shorewomen's Centennial Conference "DIGS" Pediatric Cancer Research match against Franklin & Marshall at noon.  F&M and Catholic will then play at 2:00 p.m.  The Shorewomen's four seniors will then be honored prior to their match against Catholic at 4:00 p.m.

1:00 p.m. - Kibler Field at Roy Kirby, Jr. Stadium

The Shorewomen's big game against Franklin & Marshall, ranked fourth in the nation and unbeaten in conference play, is also the team's Senior Day for its three seniors and third annual Saves 4 The Cure Game.

The Shorewomen host Franklin & Marshall and will honor their seven seniors before the game.
