CHESTERTOWN, Md. — The Washington College men's and women's basketball teams will be playing Go4theGoal Games during their respective home games against McDaniel and Bryn Mawr January 24th as they support that organization's "Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer" effort.
Go4theGoal's mission is "to improve the lives of children battling cancer by providing financial support, developing and implementing unique hospital programs, funding innovative research, and granting personal wishes." Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer is a program run by Go4theGoal which raises funds and awareness through the wearing of special gold shoelaces for designated sports competition.
The Shoremen and Shorewomen will be wearing the special gold laces for the Shoremen's game against McDaniel at 6 p.m. and the Shorewomen's game against Bryn Mawr at 8 p.m. Donations will be accepted at the door.
