Senior swimmer Jenni Clune (Bowie, Md./Eleanor Roosevelt) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Clune won gold in the 100 breaststroke for the second year in a row, took bronze in the 200 breaststroke, and was a part of the silver medal-winning 400 freestyle relay team at the Centennial Conference Championships.
Clune won the 100 breaststroke and placed third in the 200 breaststroke in 2:24.88 to become the Shorewomen’s second-fastest swimmer ever in that event. She swam the anchor leg of the second-place 400 freestyle relay team, which finished in 3:34.82. Clune was also eighth in the 200 individual medley in 2:12.41 and her 24.56 lead off in the 200 freestyle relay moved her into a tie as the Shorewomen’s fourth-fastest ever 50 freestyle swimmer.
This is Clune's fourth Shorewoman of the Week honor this season and the 10th of her collegiate career.
