#19 Fords Down Shorewomen, 3-0
Ward Dishes Out 19 Assists

HAVERFORD, PA -- Rachel Salvo had match-highs of 11 kills and 15 digs as Haverford downed Washington College, 3-0 (25-11, 25-16, 25-15), in a Centennial Conference volleyball match on Tuesday evening at the Douglas B. Gardner Integrated Athletic Center. The Fords now improve to 12-2 overall and 1-0 in the Centennial Conference on the season, while the Shorewomen fall to 7-5 and 0-2 respectively.

Haverford got 10 kills from Franny Glick and 12 digs from Kelsey Cantwell. Kate Comey handed out a match-best 28 assists on the evening.

For Washington, junior setter Catilin Ward (Wantagh, NY/Holy Trinity) had 19 assists to lead the Shorewomen, while senior libero Arielle Brown (Merion, PA/Lower Merion) had nine digs to top all Washington players.

Washington College returns to action on Saturday, September 20, at the Baruch Volleyball Invitational in Manhattan. Washington will take on Stevenson at 10 a.m. and Colby-Sawyer at 12 p.m.
