29, 2006 CHESTERTOWN, MD -- Amanda Burkart had 19 kills and Christine Aletras handed out 38 assists as Richard Stockton downed Washington College, 3-0 (30-22, 30-26, 30-21), in non-conference volleyball action on Friday evening at the Cain Athletic Center. Colleen Bachmann chalked up 14 digs for Richard Stockton, who improve to 11-7 on the season. Junior outside hitter Katherine O'Brien (Severna Park, MD/Severna Park) led the Shorewomen with nine kills and 10 digs in the match. Freshman setter Caitlin Ward (Wantagh, NY/Holy Trinity) registered 26 assists in the contest. Senior middle hitter Nanna Kozemchak (Falls Church, VA/St. Stephen's & St. Agnes) had eight kills and digs in the match. Washington College (3-12) is home tomorrow for the Penny Fall Classic. At 11:00 am, the Shorewomen host Villa Julie and at 3:00 pm, WC plays Catholic. Catholic and Villa Julie will play at 1:00 pm in the middle match. |
