Green Terror Downs Shorewomen, 3-0
O'Brien with 15 kills and 11 digs, Ward dishes out 21 assists

WESTMINSTER, MD -- Junior outside hitter Katherine O'Brien (Severna Park, MD/Severna Park) had 15 kills and 11 digs and freshman setter Caitlin Ward (Wantagh, NY/Holy Trinity) handed out 21 assists, but it was not enough as McDaniel defeated Washington College, 3-0 (30-26, 30-22, 30-20), in Centennial Conference volleyball action on Wednesday evening at the Gill Center. McDaniel now improves to 10-4 overall and 2-0 in the Centennial Conference on the season.

Senior middle hitter Nanna Kozemchak (Falls Church, VA/St. Stephen's & St. Agnes) had a team-high 17 digs and sophomore libero Arielle Brown (Merion, PA /Lower Merion) registered 12 digs.

Washington College (3-11, 0-3 CC) returns to action on Friday, September 29, hosting Richard Stockton for a 7 p.m. non-conference match.
