WC Drops Match at St. Mary's
Greenback Has Solid All-Around Night

ST. MARY'S CITY, MD -- The Washington College volleyball team lost a non-conference match in three games this evening to host St. Mary's (MD) College. Game scores were 30-27, 30-23, and 30-20. Sophomore outside hitter Laura Greenback (Riva, MD/South River) had a solid all-around night, hitting .368 and posting team-highs of nine kills, four aces, and 13 digs.

Senior middle hitter Katie Froning (Kennett Square, PA/Kennett) contributed a pair of solo blocks, three aces, and four kills. Senior setter Amy Milauskas (Ellicott City, MD/Seton Keough) added 11 assists, while junior defensive specialist Lindsay Tegeler (Baltimore, MD/Mt. Carmel) scooped out 12 digs.

The Shorewomen will open play in the Centennial Conference on Saturday when they host Haverford College and Franklin & Marshall College in an 11:00 a.m. tri-match.
