19, 2002 GETTYSBURG, PA -- The Washington College volleyball team dropped both of its matches at a Centennial Conference tri-match this afternoon at Gettysburg College. The Shorewomen (3-22, 0-7 Centennial Conference) fell to Muhlenberg, 30-15, 30-26, 30-19, and to host Gettysburg, 30-19, 30-23, 30-14. Sophomore outside hitter Laura Greenback (Riva, MD/South River) served seven aces against Muhlenberg, while freshman outside hitter Lauren Ford (Eldersburg, MD/Liberty) pounded seven kills. Junior defensive specialist Lindsay Tegeler (Baltimore, MD/Mt. Carmel) scooped out 15 digs, while freshman outside hitter Abby Benson (Avon Grove, PA/Avon Grove) added 13. Senior setter Amy Milauskas (Ellicott City, MD/Seton Keough) contributed nine assists. Against the Bullets, Greenback turned in a solid all-around performance of 12 digs, five kills, and four aces. Tegeler added a team-high 14 digs. The Shorewomen continue conference play Wednesday with a 7:00 p.m. home match against Swarthmore.
