ALLENTOWN, PA -- The Washington College volleyball team dropped Centennial Conference matches to Gettysburg and Muhlenberg this afternoon. The Shorewomen (0-23 overall, 0-7 Centennial) participated in a tri-match hosted by Muhlenberg and lost each match in three games.

Gettysburg 3, Washington College 0 (30-15, 30-25, 30-15)
Freshman outside hitter Laura Greenback (Riva, MD/South River) served four aces against the Bullets, while junior middle hitter Katie Froning (Kennett Square, PA/Kennett) recorded two solo blocks. Sophomore outside hitter Theresa Pyzik (Baltimore, MD/Mercy) added a team-high seven digs.
WC MATCH STATS

Muhlenberg 3, Washington College 0 (30-19, 30-22, 30-19)
Greenback's eight kills led the Shorewomen offensively and her nine digs helped lead a solid defensive effort. Froning and sophomore outside hitter Lindsay Tegeler (Baltimore, MD/Mt. Carmel) each added seven digs.

Washington returns to action Wednesday with a 7:00 p.m. Centennial Conference match at Swarthmore.
