Finnegan & Marshall Named All-Centennial
Finnegan Tabbed in Singles, Duo Chosen for Doubles

LANCASTER, PA -- Washington College freshmen Jordan Finnegan (Wilmington, DE/Archmere Academy) and Brittany Marshall (Dagsboro, DE/Worcester Prep, MD) have earned All-Centennial Conference Women's Tennis honors in a vote conducted by the conference's coaches. Finnegan earned all-conference honors in singles and was joined by Marshall as an all-conference doubles team.

Finnegan is 17-4 in singles this year, including a 16-3 mark in dual matches and an 8-2 record in conference matches. Finnegan has gone 7-2 at No. 1 and 9-1 at No. 2. She played No. 1 singles in six of the Shorewomen's 10 regular-season conference matches. She is currently on a seven-match win streak in singles, including two wins over regionally-ranked opponents.

As a doubles tandem, Finnegan and Marshall are 17-3 on the year, including a 17-2 record in dual matches, all at No. 1. They went 8-1 in conference matches. Their only losses came against regionally-ranked opponents and their wins include victories over three Division II doubles teams and a Division I doubles team.

The Shorewomen, who have tied their school record with 16 wins this season, will be the second seed in the Centennial Conference Tournament, which will be played Saturday and Sunday at Johns Hopkins.
