February 16, 2009 CHESTERTOWN, MD - The Washington College women's swimming team posted the 12th-highest team grade-point average in all of Division III for the fall 2008 semester, according to the College Swim Coaches Association of America's recently-released Academic All-American team award announcement. The Shorewomen finished the fall semester with a team GPA of 3.39, the highest of any Centennial Conference team. To be eligible for the team award, an institution must have a grade-point average of 3.00 or higher. The Shorewomen earned Academic All-American status for the 22nd time in team history. |
