Nottingham Named Centennial Player of the Week
Freshman Bats Team-High .571 In 4-0 Week To Earn First CC Weekly Award
Washington College freshman first baseman/outfielder Shaelan Nottingham (Ocean City, MD/Stephen Decatur) has been named the Centennial Conference Softball Player of the Week by the conference office for the week of March 8-14, 2010. Nottingham hit a team-best .571 in helping the Shorewomen go a perfect 4-0 during that time frame.

Shorewomen Win Two More in Florida
Washington Downs Carroll, 5-1; Rockford, 5-4

The Washington College softball team won a pair of games in Fort Myers, FL, today to finish 5-1 in their season-opening stay in the Sunshine State. The Shorewomen opened the day with a 5-1 win over Carroll and then defeated Rockford, 5-4.
