2008 ALLENTOWN, PA -- Host Muhlenberg College topped visiting Washington College, 2-0, in a Centennial Conference women's soccer game tonight in Allentown, PA. The Mules improved to 8-3-1 overall and 3-1 in conference play with the win, while the Shorewomen fell to 1-10 and 0-4. Muhlenberg got a goal in each half as Christina O'Grady scored at 23:56 and Meghan O'Grady found Nicolette Miller for a goal at 60:43. Freshman goalkeeper Tori Ripple (Baltimore, MD/John Carroll) matched her career high with 14 saves in the loss for the Shorewomen. Muhlenberg had a 37-1 advantage in shots and a 15-0 advantage in corner kicks in the game. The Shorewomen return to action Wednesday with a 7:00 p.m. Centennial Conference home game against Ursinus. |
