Red Devils Best Shorewomen, 6-2
Weida Scores Both WC Goals in Loss

CARLISLE, PA -- Host Dickinson College topped visiting Washington College, 6-2, in a Centennial Conference women's soccer game this afternoon in Carlisle, PA. The game was the season final for both teams. The Red Devils finish the season at 9-8-1 overall and 4-5-1 in conference play with the win, while the Shorewomen complete their year at 1-17 and 0-10.

Dickinson held a 4-0 lead at halftime after maintaining a 13-1 advantage in shots in the period. Lisa Nichols scored three goals in the win for the Red Devils and added one assist, while Sarah Casey had one goal and one assist. Alex Baranick and Molly Schaefer each finished with one goal, while Dana Conroy and Nadine Drago each had one assist.

Freshman midfielder Katie Weida (Lancaster, PA/Lancaster Country Day) scored both of Washington's goals at 73:16 and 81:21, respectively. Freshman defender Becca Nicely (Baltimore, MD/Institute of Notre Dame) picked up her first collegiate assist on Weida's first goal, while senior midfielder/defender Lindsay Fox (Laurel, MD/Atholton) assisted on Weida's second goal.

Kailyn Hartmann played the first half in goal for Dickinson, while Hannah Farda played the second half. Each Dickinson goalie made one save. Sophomore goalkeeper Caroline Grier (Kennett Square, PA/Sanford School (DE)) made five saves in the loss for the Shorewomen.

Dickinson held a 25-6 advantage in shots and an 8-0 edge in corner kicks in the game.
